Dysport

If Botox treatments are not working right for you, there is an alternative to smooth out wrinkles, surgery-free! Dysport is one alternative to Botox that is proven to soften deep folds and wrinkles of the forehead and brow region.

What is Dysport?

Dysport is a botulinum toxin injectable used for the temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults under the age of 65. Dysport won’t change the look or movement in other areas of the face, leaving you with a naturally expressive face with softened lines.

How does Dysport work?

Dysport will temporarily alter nerve impulses, preventing muscles from contracting.  The injections are done in five points between and above the eyebrows, and targets specific muscles that generate the movements that create frown lines and the “11” lines that are often seen between the eyebrows.

Dysport treatments can be done in just one treatment lasting 20 minutes or less. For the majority of patients, Dysport will begin to show wrinkle improvement within two to three days and can last for up to four months.

Who Should Use Dysport?

Anyone under the age of 65 looking to soften frown lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows may benefit from Dysport. However, you should always consult a physician before receiving a treatment to make sure you do not have any allergies to substances in Dysport or facial conditions and characteristics that could interfere with results.
